UPDATE: Reportedly the Marie Callender’s Home Style creations sell for $1.99 at Walmart. Only 49 cents after coupon.
Save $1.50 off one Maria Callender’s Home Style Creation with this printable coupon. This is a new products and I still don’t know how much it sells for but I am willing to bet that this coupon gives you a good discount on it, at least 50%. Since it is a new product, expect a good sale to go with this coupon. It is also a good coupon to have for Kmart super doubles starting next week, if your local store is participating.
Here’s another printable I just spotted on Coupons.com:
$1 off two Horizon Organic Large Dozen Eggs
There are also two toy coupons available : $5 off $20 My Little Pony Purchase and $5 off $20 Nerf Purchase. Use with this $5/$20 toy purchase coupon good at Kmart (expires 8/31)to get $10 off these toys. My only advice would be to make sure you price compare these toys at other stores just to make sure you really are getting a good deal at Kmart.
Happy Savings!

[A note from the editor: Jody DeVere of AskPatty.com, an automotive blog geared toward women, has been tweeting about the More Mileage for Your Money blog portal recently. She just wrote a great article about the Uniroyal Soccer Program that was put up on her site as well as the main page of BlogHer.
We have posted the article below for your viewing. And don't forget to check out the other offerings at her page, AskPatty.com--it's a friendly and accessible resource for automotive information.]
Soccer Mom Alert: Uniroyal Tire Supports Soccer Teams with Free Balls and more!
For the 10th year in a row, Michelin North America Inc. and its Uniroyal tire dealers continue to support soccer communities across the country. Beginning September 4, 2009, sponsored players will receive a certificate that can be redeemed for a free soccer ball at their local participating Uniroyal location (while supplies last). Uniroyal will also donate $2 for every Uniroyal tire sold during the 30-day program.
Founded in 2000, the Uniroyal Soccer Program has contributed nearly $12 million in funds and equipment, including almost a million soccer balls to more than 3,000 youth soccer programs across America and Canada. In fact, they’ve given away enough soccer balls to fill 4000 station wagons, or overfow three Olympic-size swimming pools!
“We’re proud to say what started as a small, grassroots initiative for 200 Uniroyal dealers has grown into an international program reaching the communities of over 1,000 Uniroyal Tire dealers in the U.S. and Canada,” says Kaz Holley, Uniroyal tire brand director.
The program is completely turn-key for its participants: Many local dealers go above and beyond just passing out certificates, and are taking extra steps to develop strong relationships with the soccer leagues they help support. Some set up kicka-thons, booths with games, and giveaways. It’s a great way to raise awareness for their retail shops: after all, the United States has more soccer players than any other nation in the. Of the almost 18-million players across the country, 78% are under the age of 18.
“The 10th anniversary of the soccer program is quite a milestone,” said Kaz Holley, Uniroyal Tire brand director. “Our unique program has grown rapidly and we continue to partner with exceptional dealers like Carolina Tire to reach additional soccer leagues each year. Bringing communities together has always been an important component of the soccer program, and we look forward to being involved in youth soccer for years to come.”
In celebration of the program’s 10th anniversary, Uniroyal Tire is giving away a soccer ball every day in 2009 via their website, www.UniroyalTires.com/sweeps. Daily winners will also be eligible for a grand-prize “Soccer Season Survival” drawing at the end of the year which includes the top 10 items a family needs to survive the 2010 soccer season: a $500 gas card, a set of Uniroyal tires, a camera/video recorder, car service for the season, a GPS system, car detailing, a cooler/chair package, a $250 parents’ night out gift card, a $250 snack/food gift card, and a $500 sporting goods gift card. Forget the soccer ball. (THIS is the prize I want!!)
By the way: Do you love or hate the term “Soccer Mom”? While the nickname has been around for many years, its popularity grew significantly during the 1996 presidential election when the candidates began referring to this demographic. It became so widespread that the Boston Globe called 1996 the “Year of the Soccer Mom” and “Soccer Mom” was voted Word of the Year by the American Dialect Society.
The online contest continues until December 31, 2009. To enter, or to see the official rules, go to www.uniroyaltires.com/sweeps.
